Cyanotype Bandana Workshop

12/07/2025 1:00 pm
In winter we cue ourselves to rest, hibernate, yet enjoy wintry fun. The flowers have gone for the season and the sun doesn’t shine as long. But we can still create within winter what we don’t perceive to belong.
Join us for a Cyanotype workshop this December. Play with one of the original forms of photography and create your very own “sun print” cotton bandana with pressed native Montana wildflowers gathered in the Highlands and Pintler Mountain Ranges.
Cyanotype is a beautiful way to spend cold winter days. Even on a cloudy day, a UV index is all we need. It helps to support our connection to the sun in the winter, keeping our spirits balanced, and the natural blue hue developed in the print helps support our throat chakras throughout the season. Keeping colds and sore throats away. The flowers connect us to the upcoming seasons, reminding us of ever present change and new cycles.
This workshop is led by Elsa Janney.
Sunday, December 7 at 1 p.m. at Anaconda Yoga
