Join us for Community Day at the Old Montana Prison Complex, a special day of free admission celebrating our community, history, and the start of the summer season. On Saturday, May 30, 2026, all five attractions at the complex will be open to the public at no cost from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Explore the historic Old Montana Prison, where stories of justice, confinement, and resilience come to life. Step into automotive history at the Montana Auto Collection, featuring beautifully restored vehicles from across the decades. Discover Montana’s past through hands-on exhibits and immersive displays at Frontier Montana, and enjoy a nostalgic journey through toys, games, and childhood memories at Yesterday’s Playthings. Complete your visit at the Powell County Museum, showcasing the rich cultural and local history of Powell County.
Community Day also marks the seasonal opening of The Prison Cow ice cream shop, offering a sweet treat to kick off summer at the complex.
